As well as receiving a complimentary copy of the deluxe limited-edition book The Language of Luxe, guests were also given a tour of AB Concept’s newly renovated atelier by company co-founders Ed Ng and Terence Ngan. Spread over almost 14,000 sq ft, the gallery-like workspace resembles a luxuriously appointed private residence with its indoor garden, separate living room, private luxury gym, kitchen and den. In addition to exclusive furniture pieces custom-made by AB Concept, classic designer chairs are placed throughout the office and rare art pieces adorn the walls.
Explained AB Concept co-founder Ed Ng: “Since 2001, AB Concept has been defining and creating luxury lifestyles. It’s only fitting, then, that our newly completed atelier should reflect the company’s design values and appreciation for bespoke luxury. We want our designers and team members to find inspiration in the workplace.”
The Language of Luxe chronicles AB Concept’s vast portfolio of work in different disciplines. Published by ORO Editions, each chapter focuses on a design element that AB Concept employs to communicate authentic luxury: Color, Craftsmanship, Texture, Form, Pattern, Scale, Light, Simplicity and Sense of Place.
