The design draws on Shanghai’s rich history by combining architectural elements of Shanghai’s French Concession with traditional Chinese symbols. Reinterpreting the neoclassical style, Shàng-Xí’s soaring ceilings, bronze finishes and marble interiors are suggestive of European grandeur.
